One of the dangers we have to guard against is divorcing love of men from the love of God expressed through the incarnation and redemption of Christ. Man cannot define nor initiate love. "In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins" (1 John 4:10). We need people like you to be courageous and share their experiences with this movement that I know personally has hurt a lot of people. Sadly its proponents do not follow up enough to realize the damage they have left behind. I am hoping more stories like yours would be posted on this site in the future.
