    “And when I long for holiness now, it is chiefly, that thereby I may become an ‘able minister of the New Testament….”

    These words of David Brainerd crystalize the command of the Father’s love in the obedience of the sent-disciple: “…but so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me” (John 14. 31).

    May the church know most fully the obedience and glory of this love, the love of the Father and the Son.
